Saginaw River Valley Railroad

The Saginaw River Valley Model Railroad Club has brought its huge model train layouts to Santa's Village year after year. Since their first public display in March 1979 they have grown to become one of the finest modular railroad clubs in the Midwest. Among our different modules you may see is an operating Drive-In movie theatre, granary, brewery, zoo, circus, operating container facility, campground, farm, mountainscape, urban city, quaint suburban neighborhood, a refinery, a river canyon, a rail yard and engine facility, a gravel pit, trailer park, working drawbridge, swing bridge and much much more.

They have very interesting trains that show up on their rails, from early steam engines to the giants, from the early diesel locomotives to the modern power you see today. We also include the ultra modern bullet trains from Europe. All these engines can be seen pulling some of more than 200 freight and passenger cars around the layout.
